Branches Overview

A Branch in Foodics is one of the main configuration points in the your account. Within a branch you can assign licenses, track sales and inventory transactions, manage tables, delivery zones, assign taxes and much more.

How to Create a New Branch

In the Console > Manage > Branches:

  1. Click on Create Branch.
  2. Enter the branch details and Save.

Note: This requires that you have an available license in your subscription for a branch.

How to Edit Branch Settings

In the Console > Manage > Branches:

  1. Click on the branch you want to edit.
  2. Click on Edit Branch.
  3. Click on Save.

Here you can save branch configuration such as opening and closing hours, location, receipt header and footer.

Also you can enable whether this branch can receive online orders from the API or Call Center.

How to Assign Tags to a Branch

In the Console > Manage > Branches:

  1. Click on the branch you want to edit.
  2. Scroll down to the Tags section, click on Add Tags/Edit Tags button.
  3. Select the required tags and Apply.

Note: Tags are used for reporting and filtering.

How to Assign Delivery Zones to a Branch

In the Console > Manage > Branches:

  1. Click on the branch you want to edit.
  2. Scroll down to the Delivery Zones section and click on Add Delivery Zone button.
  3. Select the branch’s delivery zones and Save.

Note: You need to define your delivery zones first from the Console > Manage > More > Delivery Zones.

How to Add Dine-In Sections in a Branch

In each section you can add a number of tables that will appear in the Cashier Application.

In the Console > Manage > Branches:

  1. Click on the branch you want to edit.
  2. Scroll down to the Sections section and click on Add Section button.
  3. Add the name of your section and number of tables, then Save.

How to Delete All Orders or Transactions from a Branch

Firstly, you have to make sure there are no active or pending orders in the Cashier, then uninstall the cashier app from the iPad. And deactivate the Cashier License from the Console > Manage > Devices.

Now, In the Console > Manage > Branches:

  1. Click on the branch you want to reset.
  2. Scroll down to Delete Branch Orders section and click on Delete Orders.
  3. Download the cashier app again from the App Store.
  4. Activate the Application.

Note: To reset Inventory Transactions only, Scroll down to Delete Branch Inventory Transactions section and click on Delete Transactions.

Note: Resetting branch orders/inventory transaction will delete all branch orders/inventory transaction and they can’t be restored. The following steps can be done only from the Primary Owner’s account
