Djamel, a veteran technology executive with proven capacity to deliver results in building and growing businesses, will help drive Foodics’ next phase of growth.

Riyadh – November 3rd, 2020 – Foodics, the leading cloud-based point of sale platform, announced today the appointment of Djamel Mohnd as the new Executive Director. Djamel will oversee the growth of the business on all levels of the organization and will join Foodics’ executive leadership team.

Djamel sprang his career by exploring several business departments, including logistics, marketing, advertising, commercial development, and product management. Hence, he grasped a holistic knowledge of how businesses operate, how do they assert dominance in the market, and why do they inevitably fail.

Before moving to Saudi Arabia 7 years ago, he was in charge of the Marketplace Development at Amazon France. During his fruitful span in Saudi, he was the COO of Rocket Internet; brought startups, like Jeeny, to scale; and contributed to Kitopi’s success as a Managing Director. In the meantime, his passion grew for SaaS products. Then, Foodics’ innovation and ambition inspired him to seek this extraordinary adventure!
